Our Anglesey Sea Salt crackling is made with just two spiffing ingredients. We take pork rinds from the outdoor bred pigs, which are hand fried in small batches before being lightly sprinkled with organic Anglesey Sea Salt.
We don’t add anything else, absolutely nothing, nada.
We could provide you with a list of things we don’t add, but frankly we’re not sure we have the space. Instead, we are going to tell you a bit more about the stuff we do add. Our sea salt comes from the charming people at The Anglesey Sea Salt Company, in – would you believe – Anglesey. To make their delicious salt, they use charcoal-filtered water, drawn from the Menai Strait.
Our pork rinds come from equally lovely people from an equally lovely place – East Anglia. We take the sourcing of our pork very seriously indeed; animal welfare is no laughing matter. The pigs we use are outdoor bred; that means they are born and bred outside, in the fresh air (although not always in the sunshine – this isn’t the mediterranean, you know).
We don’t like to brag, but this particular pork crackling is award winning. And not just any award. The delightful people at the Guild of Fine Food decided to award us a Gold Great Taste Award, which – we hear – is no mean feat. Enough of that though, otherwise our heads may not fit through the door. 1 star from the chaps there means they think the crackling is: “Close to Perfect”.

We use pork rinds from the highest quality, outdoor bred pigs, which are hand fried in small batches. As they cool down, they are lightly sprinkled with organic Anglesey sea salt and absolutely nothing else. Any pieces that don’t meet the impeccable standards of our quality control experts are swiftly discarded. The lucky ones that do make the cut are carefully placed into our charming little bags. That, we believe, is what makes this pork crackling the very best that money can buy.
